During the last five months the Centre has undergone a metamorphosis and is ready to turn into a 21st Century butterfly!! Improvements within the Centre have included a facilities upgrade, IT/Exchange server upgrade, electronic customised database, Facebook and new website.
The facilities upgrade has enabled a centralised resource room for the Emergency Relief program and new lockers for our volunteers along with a dedicated dual access assessment room. As an acknowledgement to our wonderful volunteers the tea room now proudly displays a ‘Togetherness Tree’ which will depict photos of the RCC volunteer family.
The IT upgrade, database and social media initiatives will serve to provide an enhanced service for the Redland community. The Centre is poised to move towards broader case management in a pro-active manner concentrating on what is important and spending less time on the urgent.
