Homeless United (HU) was a State funded program that provides support, assistance, information and advocacy along with client focused case management to Redlands homeless. Over 300 homeless have connected with the program which has successfully housed over 200 people, with many gaining paid employment once housed.
The Service Navigator program has been created to help members of the Redland and Bay Island community understand disaster management better. Funded by Commonwealth/ State Disaster Recovery Arrangements (DRFA), the project has a focus on early intervention to help individuals become self-sufficient in the event of a natural disaster.
