Counselling

Our Centre offers a range of free counselling services to the Redland community. We provide access to crisis and generalist counselling with experienced and mature student counsellors. Crisis counselling is designed to provide immediate and short-term support for individuals who are experiencing emotional, mental, physical, or behavioural distress or problems.

While the Centre is not funded to provide counselling services, we believe it’s an essential part of building a sustainable future. Therefore, we have partnered with the Australian College of Applied Psychology to continue offering our free counselling services.

To access our counselling program, please call us at 07 3245 2117 and mention that you’d like to access our free counselling program. During the call, our receptionist will take your name, number, and suburb, and may ask you to briefly explain your circumstances to ensure you are listed for either crisis or generalist type counselling. If you’re not comfortable discussing your circumstances, you can simply state that you need to book into the program or even request your preferred counsellor.

Counselling sessions take place at our Centre located at 29 Loraine Street, Capalaba.

Our free counselling service commenced on May 15, 2017.
