Redland Community Centre is a funded NILS provider. The No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) is just one of the many services the Centre provides. NILS is a safe, fair and affordable loan for people on low incomes. RCC NILS Workers are volunteers who can walk you through the application process to sign up. The NILS Application Form is easy to complete and understand. If you have any concerns over being able to develop a budget we can refer you to our GPS Project – Money Finder for assistance.
Loans are up to $1,500 ($2,000 for D&FV) with repayments set up at an affordable amount over 12 to 18 months. To be eligible for NILS you must have a Health Care Card or earn less than $45,000 a year (after tax). Loans CANNOT be used for cash, bond, rent arrears, debt consolidation, holidays or bills. If you are an existing customer of NILS and have paid a significant amount off your current loan we can offer you an additional loan up to the combined value of $1,500.

The RCC NILS loan program is aimed at the following purposes :-
- White goods (Fridge, freezer, etc)
- Car Registrations & Repairs
- Electrical goods (PC, laptop, TV etc)
- Medical Equipment (not funded through other programs)
- Dental Costs (not funded through other programs)
