RCC has partnered with the Australian College of Applied Psychology to bring FREE counselling to the community – commencing 15 May 2017. The program provides both crisis and generalist counselling in a professional and confidential environment. The Counsellors engaged by the Centre are mature age and working towards completing either a Bachelor or Masters level qualification. Both student Counsellors are experienced practitioners with a sound understanding of how the Counselling framework can assist clients in achieving results.
William has studied counselling and psychotherapy in the UK and Australia and is currently working towards a post-graduate (Masters) degree. He has expertise in person-centred therapy, gestalt therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic brief therapy and mindfulness techniques.
William’s personal Mission – ‘I am dedicated to supporting people find their way through challenging circumstances and times, and enable them to continue their life’s journey with enthusiasm, calm, and understanding’.
Debbie is working towards a Bachelor degree and offers her clients a highly developed communication skill set gained over a period of more than 20 years. She is ‘life experienced’ along with being both personal and approachable. Debbie has the ability to quickly develop rapport with a diverse group of clients.
