Redland Community Centre - Christmas Appeal 2025
The Appeal will help Redlands locals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic and family violence, or other significant hardship. Community donations will allow us to provide essential assistance and meaningful support to individuals and families who need it most.
The Redland City Council is also continuing its support for the STAR Secret Santa for Seniors Appeal, with donation points available at the Victoria Point, Cleveland and Capalaba libraries for thoughtful gifts for local seniors. We invite you to join us in supporting Redlands residents in need this Christmas.
Every contribution makes a genuine difference.
Where Your Donation Goes
Every Christmas, hundreds of families across the Redlands reach out to the Redland Community Centre for support. Many are experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, family breakdown, domestic violence or social isolation. For parents trying to keep up with rent, utilities, food or fuel, Christmas often becomes a period of pressure rather than celebration.
All donations received through this Appeal remain in the Redlands. Your contribution directly funds practical, meaningful assistance such as:
• Festive food hampers so families can share a meal together
• Toys and gifts for children who may otherwise miss out
• Specialised Christmas support packs for community members sleeping rough
Your generosity brings hope, dignity and a sense of belonging to people doing it tough. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community is overlooked this Christmas.
Do you need assistance?
If you have seen the Redland City Mayor’s Christmas Appeal and you or someone you know needs support, the Redland Community Centre is here to help. Assistance is available for Redlands residents experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, domestic and family violence, or other urgent challenges.
