Phil brings to the Centre his drive to make a difference in the lives of those disadvantaged or facing tough times. Many years of volunteering with various organisations, in particular, twenty years volunteering with Lifeline across a wide range of roles from Board Member to telephone crisis support. To better prepare for these roles Phil took on the study needed for a Diploma in Counselling.
Professionally Phil has enjoyed a very successful career in the construction industry. Working his way up to senior management roles with national and international construction companies. These roles required strong skills in strategic thinking, forward planning and forecasting. Phil and Bev have three children and seven amazing grandchildren. Phil is well aware of the fantastic work the Centre provides to the Redlands. His wife has volunteered at the centre for several years and his church are one of the supporters.”
